What do you think?

Matthews, MO(Zone 6b)

I picked a pink one for to compare the colors on this one! I am waiting on some pollen to put on this, and a bloom to put it's pollen on.

I think you are getting the MOST gorgeous colors!!! Red or orange?

Cedar Key, FL(Zone 9a)

I'm coming to your house and brug snatching...
forget the smuggling!

That is a GORGEOUS color!!!!

Matthews, MO(Zone 6b)

red....

Ewing, KY(Zone 6a)

I think its beautiful and it needs to be in my yard next year. Where did you say you where keeping it this winter? :)

Ellabell, GA(Zone 8a)

Is this a seedling?
I love the color!

Matthews, MO(Zone 6b)

Hi Peggy! I hear you loud and clear! I got yours rooting now. It is in the greenhouse, growing and growing. Yes, this is a seedling started back in Feb.

Lima, OH(Zone 5a)

What do I think? I think I need it! Gorgeous.

Angleton, TX(Zone 9a)

STUNNING is the only word I can think of to describe the color. I can see it was taken in the daylight. Sometimes evening pictures will make the flower look a little darker than they really are so I know it is at least as dark as the picture shows if not a little bit darker. Tracey, I am so happy for you . . I wish I could give you a hug right now.

Milton, FL(Zone 8a)

This one is so beautiful.Love the color.

Woodsville, NH(Zone 4a)

It's beautiful Tracey. I love the color.

Matthews, MO(Zone 6b)

You would have laughed at me is what you would have done, I took the camera in to take a picture of the first one, and I could this one hiding in the back row, so I climbed up on the bench(Table) behind it, and about fell off the table when I could really see it, I grabbed the first pink bloom I could find for this shot. I took this 9:30 yesterday morning, finished the role role last and went to Wal-mart first thing to have the roll developed. Silly me I had the digital with me and got so excited I forgot. This is what I mean by back row.

Tracey, the color is wonderful. It looks like it is absolutely red. Congrats, and please be careful climbing on the benches. I am sure you were excited, but a broken leg or neck would really hamper your brug growing girl!!

Angleton, TX(Zone 9a)

Look at all those beautiful seedlings just waiting to bloom. There are so green and healthy looking. Susie sure did an excellent job hybridizing and so did you growing these seeds into beautiful plants.

Murrells Inlet, SC(Zone 8a)

the poinsettias are beautiful also Tracy. My new favorite in those for the past several years has been the red winter rose. I've seen the white and pink in it but they don't seem to bloom as well or get as tall as the red one. I also like Monet.

Murrells Inlet, SC(Zone 8a)

What do I think you ask? Stunning!! All these great seedlings you're throwing at us is just making me anxious to start spreading some pollen myself. I've already made up my list of plants that i'll be using for hybridizing next year.

Keep um coming Tracy, whatever you're doing you appear to be doing it right. I haven't seen one bad flower yet from all of the seedling pics you've posted thus far.

Makes me mad though becasue all of mine have turned out white! (LOL)

Angleton, TX(Zone 9a)

I just thought of something . . this is the fall color!!! All blooms on brugs are now looking paler than normal. Can all of you imagine what this will look next summer?

San Leandro, CA(Zone 9b)

What do you think would be the best pollen donor for this one? RK, L'A, BF or EP?

LOL, or all of them!!!

Vancleave, MS(Zone 8b)

Wow Tracey. It looks almost red. Awesome!! Can you put me on the waiting list for a cutting of it.

Newberry, FL(Zone 8B)

great color Tracy. looks like you have a bunch more beauties there.

Herbstein, Germany(Zone 5a)

The color is stunning!!!

Matthews, MO(Zone 6b)

I want to put it on Tiara. I think I will cross the one that is real close to this color and this one. I wonder what summer heat is going to do to these colors, too. RK and LA sound good, I wonder if maybe this pollen should go on EP instead of the otherway.
Thank you all the nice comments, I was so excited about the color, now where to go from here. Next summer is already looking good.

Oh my, Tracey! I don't think you could strive for a deeper color than that. It's absolutely beautiful!! I hope it proves to be a strong grower too. It definitely looks like it will be a winner! Congrats to you and Susie. I can't wait to see how it does next year.

Tonasket, WA(Zone 5a)

Tracy, it is beautiful. Such a lovely intense color, but do be careful climbing around. Donna

Hillsboro, OH(Zone 6a)
