Ok, how did we get to November so quickly. I demand a recount of the days! LOL. I haven't done even 1/3 of what I intended to do this season. Now it will soon be time to put everything to rest for the season and start planning for next year in the yarden.
I'm going to go to our new DIL's parents home for a baby shower this afternoon. First I'll stop by my daughter's home and retreive the bunnies Shad isn't taking care of properly and drop off her tiller. I guess that is a fair enough trade-tiller for fertilizer factories. I need to get Kyle to go to mapquest and get me a printout of directions to Holly's mom's again. We were there for the wedding and that is all. They live in the boonies like we do so it can be hard to find. At least for someone who can get lost in a parking lot.LOL.
It must be chilly outside because there is a real chill in the house. I suppose that since it is November we may well start getting some nasty fall weather. Not that I'm looking forward to that at all. We don't do winter weather well here.
Of course it will now be the time to order catalogs? Why I do that I really don't know. I only plan on about 2 tomato plants, and 6 green bean(pole)if that many, but will plant more onions and maybe more potatoes, a couple winter squash, maybe one each eggplant and zucchini and cucumber. I have so much left from previous years and there are just the two of us so it doesn't make sense to do all that work for nothing. Holly will likely have her own yarden and Kris has hers except for potatoes and onions. I think I'll move more asparagus to the raised bed. Don't need more rhubarb if it all makes it thru the winter. Mary, I plucked 3 huge stalks from the plant that you sent us the other day. I think I figured about 3-4 cups of chopped rhubarb from them. Jack is still eating the rhubarb/jello I made from it.
I think I'll try to get a couple more hours of sleep or at least lay in bed resting until then.
GOD bless and keep each and all of you.
