My daughter wanted these to plant herself. well i was bidding on some on ebay and everywhere i am bidding at seems someone else is there outbidding everything i have bidded on. Same person each time. well i am not stooping to their game and have contacted ebay about this person. if you have a grude because someone outbid you its childish to stalk all of that persons bids. well ebay is looking ointo this person and going to take proper action.
until then does anyone have any featered morning glories to spare purple or what ever other color they come in. this is for a school project and everything i have bidded on has been for a total of 400 sixth graders. well they only have so much money for me to bid for them.
This is a flower science project and we decided to go with different morning glories as this is my love. i have traded most of mine stuff to help this cause so dont have to much left. i am trying to make sure all students at least get on plant that sprouts but as everyone knows seeds are finicky at times. thanks so much and everyone have a great day. imzadi

Is it only morning glories that you want? I wish I could help I have lots of stuff but none of those.

Reply for my daughter yes for the rest no. i need some desert and sweet scented four o clocks. i also need for drawf sun flowers. the girls want some kind of vines and the boys are just as picky. i know a few want some night blooming nicotina because they like the name of it. i got a few daisys coming and need a few more of those. these are all i know so far. i go to the school every other day and get on the net with them so they can chose.
i tell you what my post office has printed out more 2 and 3 dollar money orders then they probably have ever seen. i have traded alot for those who cant pay. thats why i am always on the board and doing sase. i am planning to post more when i figure out what the rest want. i have so many seeds sitting in a box i will be glad when we get started on this. next month. we sort them all put. i have been keeping a list of what the kids want. i tell you i feel like a seed store lately. i have been collecting for a month and a half now. almost done. then the real fun begins. hehe

I usually trade the seeds though. shush dont tell her that though.
resend me your addy and will get the sase out to you monday as my po is closed tommorow. hugs to you both Marie
Hi Marie, just found your post, do you still need all kinds off seeds, I have gobs of different things, and some morning glories too, but you know that, lol, anyway, if you would like to send me some kind of listing of color's you and the kids are looking for let me know, I will gladly help you out here.
Ok talk later
Laurrie
Marie, Your seeds went in the mail this morning. Hope the kids can use them and they all so very well for them.
Pam
Pam Bless you and thanks.
Laurie send me a list and i will let you know. Marie
Hi Imzadi,
Don't let the auction thing bother you & take away your pleasure in this quest. I doubt you are being singled out. As an auction user myself I know that there are other people out there with my taste in plants. I bid against the same people all the time. That is just part of auctions.
This whole seed "treasure" hunt sounds like fun. Stressful, but fun! 400 6th graders. WOW! Kudos to you.
If you post what you have left to find I will go through my binder and see if I have any of them.
Once the kids grow these are they going home with them or is it going to turn into a community beautification project?
What a wonderful opportunity. I look forward to hearing from you. I also hope you will update this site later on to say how it all came out. I would love to know so I can pass this on to a friend I have that is a teacher. She is going to LOVE this idea.
Marie, Take a look at my trade list and let me know if there is anything I can send you. Would love to help if I can. Thanks Tami
i will work on the list later tonight and see. its beena long day a field trip with all the 6th graders. thanks Marie
Imzadi, If you will send me your address, I will send you some seeds. I think I have an extra pack of heavenly blue morning glories and an extra pack of Mt Fuji morning glories and some other kinds of seeds. Linda
imzadi,The morning glories that I sent to you are feathered. Mine started out single and then all of the blooms were double.
Edited to say that I have lost all of my emails. Anyone that has sent me an email, please resend it. Thanks

I am going to bump up this thread and hope that Marie will post some pictures of this project.
I have two teacher friends that I had told about this and they are anxious to know how it has turned out?
Have the seeds been started and can you post any pics of the kids with their plants that would be great!
Thanks looking forward to knowing how this turned out!
Alice
Check my seed list and see if there is anything that you'd think the kids would like and I'll send it in exchange for postage. (The Thai chile peppers are easy to grow in pots.) Or, if part of the lesson is having the kids contribute to the project, they can save cancelled stamps, as described in my seed list.
