You spouted them in paper towels?

Brundidge, AL(Zone 8b)

yes and i need help!!!! I was not expecting them to sprout in three days but they did and they are rosamond x l amour and i want them to LIVE

3 days, boy that's fast.

I pot in a good fluffy seed mix with the little sprouts pointing down. Just deep enough for them to be covered well with soil and water them in. Then I place the seed flats in a zip-loc bag to keep them moist and keep those nasty fungus gnats out. Once I see they're starting to break the soil surface I take them out of the bag.

yes I had this brilliant idea, i would hang my bags on the sliding glass door it is always warm there I turned them side ways so the moisture would drip down into the corner of the bag and when the sun hit them it would condensate I guess it was a brilliant plan this was quicker than I had planned on. I have 8 ziploc bags full of 5-7 sprouts

I'm going to go peel some more right now and do it that way.

Julianne I'm not sure I get millions of dat seeds to germinate but once they get to be seedlings andI transplant they get fussy, You can always try a few and see

There IS something to be said for that sunny window thing! LOL One year I was late starting seeds and taped like 200 bags to my dining room window. In a few days time, I could not pot fast enough! If I were smart I would do it this way every year. It sure shaves down the germ time. :) Congrats to you SS. Done planting yet? giggle
