How pretty! And fragrant too! You can't beat that. Are you saving seeds from this one? I'd sure like to add this to my ever growing columbine collection. I just discovered them last year and have several varieties, but a white one is not among them I don't think. Only one has bloomed so far and it is blue. They are just so pretty! Thanks for the picture.

I will post you some of my other aqui, to see if you have seen them. And you are wellcome to some seed.aquilegia are very promiscuous, but there is nothing to near by

WOW! You are really into them! I know how you feel! I can't wait to see what blooms of mine next year. I think I have about a half dozen that survived this first year. That last one, a vulgaris clematiflora, is a real show-stopper too! I'd sure love to have some of your seeds to try for Winter Sowing this winter. I start Winter Sowing in mid January here. Thanks so much for sharing the photos! They are all beauties!

Here's my one that bloomed this year. I got the seeds in a trade from Weezingreen in Alaska!

Bootandall, I am really enjoying your pictures - the clarity is great! What kind of camera are you using?

I love columbine and am going to try winter sowing them this year for the first time. I have a tall dark blue columbine that seeds so heavily it crowds the others out.

the camera I have got is a finepix A203. the bit in the manual about using the AF/AE lock helps to keep the subject in focus. Glad I read that!,and I like to take photos, when the suns not bright.IT takes most colors true, but not purple blue or darker blue althought the scilla photo on PDB is okay.I will try and save heaps of seeds.no18

Those are so pretty. Is the last one a columbine too? I love those lavenders and creams together! Saving a heap of seeds sounds good to me! Thanks so much for the pictures.
