I have 203 varieties of rare heirloom seeds to trade

Ivinghoe Beds, United Kingdom(Zone 8a)

Frankly, folk, I'm an unabashed Seminophile. That's the polite (?) word for a seed collector. And I'm shamelessly addicted to heirloom seeds.

In the last two years, I have grown out 203 different varieties of rare heirloom beans, peas and tomatoes - outdoors, here in central UK (zone 8A).

Not to mention Achocha - a Lost Crop of the Incas - which looks and tastes like a gherkin, is packed with Vitamin C, loves temperate climes and is the fastest growing greenhouse shade plant on the planet!

Now I'm looking for new heirloom legume varieties to grow out next year.

Any offers?

Forgive me, but I've learned from experience to be picky.

For example, I can't use lima beans (P. lunatus) or crowder peas (Vignas). They won't grow here, though Yard Long Beans - likewise Vignas - do grow magnificently, at least, under glass.

And I really don't need any other seeds but legumes.

But take heart, a legume that may be commonplace in the US (eg. Kentucky Wonder bean) may still be rare in the UK, so I might still love to acquire it. (Especially if you have the black-seeded variety!)

In return, I can offer you your choice of 203 varieties of rare or heirloom tomatoes, beans and peas. All guaranteed to grow in temperate climes. (Cos that's the way I grew 'em.)

Alas, I can't display them here in a Trade List. (It would take me a week to manually post them all!)

Instead, simply send me a private e-mail... to say you're interested in principle. I will then e-mail you - as an Attachment - that enormous list (it comes with descriptions plus my growing experience of each variety).

Then maybe we can trade! Look forward to hearing from you....
