A spam company has been ordered by a Judge to pay $2,000,000 in penalties. http://losangeles.bizjournals.com/losangeles/stories/2003/10/20/daily64.html?jst=m_ln_hl Hopefully this will be the beginnings of some controls over all that junk.

Californian's can file complaints about spam at http://www.ag.ca.gov/consumers/mailform.htm
