Good morning everyone. Same old, same old. Am finding that my body rebounds quicker from sugar consumption than it used to. I was showing mid-range ketone levels by mid-day yesterday, one day after slipping up.
I find it quite interesting - to see a direct result of how carb consumption impacts our systems. For me, the visual - how this "cookie" or in my case "cookies" impact my system and halt the forward progression of ketosis.
That's probably the thing that is keeping me going the most - since I am NOT showing any poundage loss with THIS scale, the continual visual reinforcement of the ketone strips.
The other scale is due to be shipped at the end of the week, so I might use the gym scale for the weigh in next week. I'm tempted to get rid of my scale this weekend and just not use it and depress myself.
