Ok, I know I read this somewhere in this forum, and I remember the post saying that it was one of the reason's he/she has such green, beautiful foilage and so many flower blooms. So if you know of who uses this, Please post here and tell me how to use it?
I got some of the Alaskan fish fertilizer and some MG also to use on my brugs I have and I thought I was gonna die today when the stuff leaked!!!!!!!! Arghhhhhhhhhhhhh
Who uses Alaskan Fish Fertizer for Brugs?
I have used it, before brugs. Good....but smells very bad, inside on houseplants.
Wow that was quick lol...how did you use it on your brugs??? What I think Im trying to say is, the post I saw the individual was using this and the MG twice a week. Does this sound familiar? I was shocked when I saw how many time you fertilize Brugs...but hey, if thats what it takes, thats what it will be.
My DH is in the process of making a GH for me...lol...I think if I use this Alaskan Fish fertilizer...it will not be in the house LOL ACK it's so nasty smelling...it'll be outside heheh
I also use it but only during the early part of the growing season in the spring. If you don't like the smell of fish don't use it. It will make your entire yard smell of fish.
S T R O N G F I S H !!!!
LOL YOU are the one!!! Aha! I knew I would find you. lololol...went to see my sister then shopping for things to make a GH with. The cheap way lol...anyhow, I saw it on the shelf at Lowe's and grabbed it. Well on the way home some leaked out...I kept smelling it and OMGosh@!!! I thought I was going to hurl!!!!!!!!! LOL
Anyway, catsmeow...David, how did you use it? I mean was it both???? The Alaskan fish and the MG all in one week and twice a week? Tell me how? I want my brug to look like yours...so healthy.
LOLOL I dont think even peeps that like fish would even like the smell of this stuff, but hey, the brugs like it right??? lol
Just don't ever carry a bottle in the trunk of your car, or you will never want to drive it again. Several years ago, I purchased an economy size bottle of fish emulsion and put it in the trunk of car. On the way home it rolled out of the bag and bumped up against the side of the trunk and broke. It took months to get the smell out of my car. Needless to say, we didn't carry anyone but the kids in the car for a long time. LOL
LOL Those poor KIDS!!!!!!!!!! LOLOLOL omgosh, this is some potent stuff lololol too funny...I'll only use in the yard..and far far away from my birds, hehehehe, might attract some cats ACK!
I just need now to know how much to use when the spring does get here
Edited to correct the spelling geesh...of Fertilizer

I bought a gallon of it and only used it for a few weeks a couple of years ago. I fertilized with it once a week and also fertilized with MG once a week.Monday was Alaskan Fish and Thursday was MG. LOL
It worked fine till the bear thought there was something dead buried under my plants and tried to dig them up. Can't use it anymore.
This isn't something you want to use in your GH. I would only use it outside.
Oh Snow that's to funny. I would be worried about my dogs rolling in it so I don't use it either and it would ruine the wonderful smell of your brugs.
Those darn bears just won't give you a break, will they Snow. I don't use it. I did try some seaweed fertilizer and it stinks too. I'm sticking with Scotts and Peters.
i would use it if i could find it on sale. Ms. Snowhermit, i do worry about you and those bears. i hope they are hibernating, not that you'll be making mid night brug strolls now.
I'm thinking Im gonna just use the MG & some other type too other than the Alaskan Fish stuff...Im tellin' ya, I got sick last night. I thought I had dog doo on my shoes until I found it leaked...and it was only alittle bit too.
So..the answer is...fertilize the brugs twice weekly. This I will do. Thanks everyone
I used both in the same week. Several days apart though and my problem is not following the directions on the lable. I always mixed a lot more than the lable called for. Luckily I didn't kill anything doing that!
