Hi everyone,
Haven't been here since 9/11. I just rejoined today and thought I might see if anybody wants cuttings of SunRay? I have some that range around 12 inchs or more. They are rooted.
I am quitting for now.need to wait and see whats left.

Welcome back. I think I might have joined right after you left. It is nice of you to offer cuttings on your first day back. I'm sure there will be several people who will be very happy to get one.

David, I've got a little Sunray plant if Kateagain is out that I can get a couple pieces off. Wanna trade? :))

Linda you have mail
I wonder why David. I have to say that I've never tried to root that one. I ordered the one you got the cuttings from, from Logee's this year. I did get a cutting from someone last year and it didn't make it either. Maybe it isn't easy to root, but I sure can't say. Wish I still had the plant and I'd send you more to try, but everything is now gone here.
Shirley,
I already had one sunray cutting when you sent me those. It ame from the person that i won my L'Amour from on ebay. It is about the size of a pencil but it's hard wood. no leaves and it is not soft. It's finally trying to root but has the funkiest color to the stem. Not sure if it's going to make it or not.that's why when I saw this thread I jumped on one that is rooted already
Hope it will grow for you David. When I have trouble more than once, I generally figure out how to get a rooted one. Everyone here is so nice to go ahead and root them if you need them that way. I didn't even see SunRay bloom this year. Many of mine didn't bloom until so late and it just wasn't quite ready when the freeze hit.
If there are any left I would love one. E-mail me please as some days I only have time to check e-mail.
Thanks
Sandy
