Humanitarians on Davesgarden:

The vet says I should spay the Monster Kay. She is over 1
now and has never had a heat and is in perfect health
and is very affectionate.

I had both Deke and Oat spayed and they went from playful
affectionate animals to neurotic and fearful.

The vet says the it is a myth that there is personality
change with a spay. Some myth

What do you think? I believe in spay but not at the
expense of her monsterness.
