It seems like just yesterday...

Woodsville, NH(Zone 4a)

I was looking at my beautiful Brug Alley in this spot.
This is the surprise I got this morning when I woke up.Mother Nature dumped a little over 5" of that nasty white stuff unexpectedly.

Homestead, FL(Zone 10b)

Come on down snowhermit. It's only 0730 hours and it's already 85 degrees. There's enough sun and heat here in Miami to share with everyone. :-)

Newnan, GA(Zone 8a)

show the bird picture, it's wonderful!! hope it's melting

Cedar Key, FL(Zone 9a)

YUK!

That white fungus is back again!

Social Circle, GA(Zone 8a)

Maybe it's because it rarely snows here, but I think it's beautiful. Me and my kids are praying for a few flakes!

Surry, VA(Zone 7b)

Is this an early snowfall for you? I was told the Farmer's Almanac said to expect a cold wet winter here in VA. I hope you brought the eagle inside. :o)

Chariton, IA(Zone 5b)

CC, I've never heard of it being called white fungus. I love that term.

Denver, CO(Zone 5b)

That is a beautiful picture, should be in Birds & Bloom magazine.

Am not looking forward to all that white stuff! Would like a real short winter here.

Huntington Beach, CA(Zone 10a)

I agree with Hibiscus, that is a wonderful picture of the bird feeder. I would surely show that to a magazine or 2.

We are having record temps this week out here in So. Calif., and this weekend it's supposed to real get warm. We are already battling our yearly fires and the season is just beginning. The paper said it's been over 90 days with no rain. Dry, dry...dry!!

Stay warm,
Donna

Angleton, TX(Zone 9a)

I just can't imagine it already being so cold and snowing where you are and I am working outside sweating. I just came in for a break. Yesterday it was 92 but we are suppose to get a cold front Monday morning . . 45 degrees then up to 70. Can't wait!

Social Circle, GA(Zone 8a)

*Very* nice picture-it does look like something straight out of Birds and Blooms.

Brugvalley, Germany(Zone 7b)

Nice pictures but I am sorry for you Snow.I donīt like wintertime.

Westbrook, ME(Zone 5a)

It's too early!! You poor thing, snowhermit! We had mixed snow and rain but nothing stuck around. I hope you get a couple of warm days to melt that stuff away. I have the feeling we're for a long winter...

Woodburn, OR(Zone 8a)

gee, maybe once in five years we might get a huge snowfall like that! (well here it would be huge) it looks so pretty!!

Woodsville, NH(Zone 4a)

This is an early snow fall even for here. It's been cold today so the snow is still here.
Funny, we went to town last night for supper and there isn't a lick of snow. I guess only the mountains got any accumulation.
I agree Poppy, I think we're in for a long and hard winter.
