I keep walking out about 5 times a day just to admire the leaves. (I should be dropping a lot of pounds by spring)
I want to be sure that you know how much I appreciate these and how excited I am about having them next spring.

back2back I am so glad to know that I am not the only one. I am jealous of your zone though you will probably have flowers way before I do.
I have come to the conclusion that I have a pretty low threshold of excitement!!
I am just in awe of the whole growing process of plants and taking those little cuttings or seeds and watching them turn into beautiful plants.

aknapp, I too am walking out to the greenhouse to see how the cuttings David sent me are doing. Today I potted up the largest one from rooting medium to growing soil. I ppotted in a 6" pot. Don't know exactly where I am going to find space for all of them for the next 4 months!!!! Donna

I still have them in the breezeway which gets the most sun but it isn't heated so the temperature is around 60 most of the time dropping to about 55 at night. I don't know if I need to move these as it gets colder. I have a thermometer right beside them so I can keep a close eye on the temp.
They are still growing but not quite as fast now as they had been.
If anyone knows what temp they should be kept at, I would really appreciate some help.
The other thing I have been thinking about to help maintain warmth for them is to bring my portable greenhouse into the breezeway and put them in that to keep them a little warmer. It is fairly small so I could get it up high enough to get quite a bit of sun and it should help with the temperature problem as it gets chillier.
Root what part of Michigan did you live in. I live in lower southwest corner about 25 miles from Notre Dame.
Thanks all
