Very nice pictures Clayton. CG is a great Brug.
You were in the 90's today? Jeesh, I really need to move south.

Waco, TX(Zone 8b)

Yes we were in the 90's today, but it will be getting into the 70's this weekend.

Woodsville, NH(Zone 4a)

Lucky you! It was in the 30's here today and snowed most of the day. Wanna trade places? LOL

Waco, TX(Zone 8b)

No way!!! I don't like that cold weather, plus I wouldn't be have these kind of pictures. Check out my tropical plants I posted on the tropical forum.

Woodsville, NH(Zone 4a)

Just came from the Tropical forum. I don't blame you for not wanting to trade places with me, if I was you I wouldn't want to trade either. :)
Your plants are absolutely beautiful.

ClaytonDT, Very nice pictures. My CG is still trying to bloom even tho pretty chilly outside. Got down to 39 early this morning. One is still out on the deck. I brought one into the house a couple of weeks ago, in a large pot. It was loaded with buds, the temp, in the house in mid to high 60s, dropped every bud and most of the leaves. So it goes to the compost. i have cuttings growing in the greenhouse. Donna

Thanks Jenks, for the link

Beautiful photos, Clayton! 6-foot Datura... That's a biggie! I never managed to get the double daturas more than a couple of feet tall.

Waco, TX(Zone 8b)

Yes Sue, it is over 6 foot tall I am about 5'11" tall and it is taller than me. All I did to it was watering it and very little feeding it.

Westbrook, ME(Zone 5a)

Let me know if you get some seeds from it, Clayton. I bet it wouldn't get that tall here but I'd like to try it. I never had much luck with the double dats. The white ones come up like weeds tho.

Waco, TX(Zone 8b)

Sue, it is loaded with seed pods right now soon as they get ready I will send you some. Have you checked out the plants I posted on the tropical forum.

Westbrook, ME(Zone 5a)

I haven't got that far yet ... but I will :)

Woodsville, NH(Zone 4a)

Donna, It's normal for it to drop it's leaves and buds when brought into the house. Once it gets adjusted to it's new envirement it will start growing new leaves if in the sun and watered or you can have it go dormant and put it into the basement where it will be cool. You'll have a head start next year with a large plant and have earlier flowers.

San Leandro, CA(Zone 9b)

Beautiful pics and what a glorious combo. Purple with the orange. Just great.

Vancleave, MS(Zone 8b)

That's amazing Clayton. Mine Datura never got over about 4' tall either.

Waco, TX(Zone 8b)

Kell, it wasn't my choice to put the Datura near the Brug it came up there on it own. It was Mother Nature's own color combo scheme I can't take credit for it.

Donna, this the only one that has ever gotten this big. The other ones I have or had has never gotten near this big, at the most about three foot tall.
