Carissa aka White Pearl X Big

Chariton, IA(Zone 5b)

Thanks Monika, for allowing me to grow this one for you.

Any of you that have received a start of this one can now put a name on it. Carissa means Tender Touch in French and I kind of wanted to follow along with a French name since Jeanne has named hers with French names. Please make sure you get the name changed.

Pretty name for a pretty flower!

Lima, OH(Zone 5a)

Nice! Big plant.

Hattiesburg, MS(Zone 8a)

Brugie, Pretty flower-is it a double? Fragrant?

Chariton, IA(Zone 5b)

Barb, yes and yes. The plant was so big that I couldn't stand it in the garage without doing some heavy trimming on it. Cut off tons of blooms. I'm hoping to see a little color in it next summer.

Ellabell, GA(Zone 8a)

Very nice Brugie,
Please post some more photos of it.

Woodsville, NH(Zone 4a)

It beautiful Shirley. I can't wait to see what it does next year.

Chariton, IA(Zone 5b)

One more and then I'm going to bed. This was a summer picture of one of the two blooms that it had. It was so hot that this bloom was gone the next day. I think our heat index was 116 that day. I melted too, but it didn't show. Still wearing the same size. LOL!!

Thanks everyone. I've got more received cuttings to pot up, so I better get moving.

Grass Lake, MI(Zone 5a)

Great name Shirley .... Congrats to both you and Monika. Will have to add to my wish list for next year.

She's gorgeous Brugie. Congrats to both of you.

Westbrook, ME(Zone 5a)

Love it! Even if it stays white... it's still a beauty. I great to see some new doubles coming from everyone's seedlings!

San Leandro, CA(Zone 9b)

Very pretty name Brugie for a very pretty plant. Next year should be so exciting to see this one.

Social Circle, GA(Zone 8a)

slurp, I am drooling.....

San Leandro, CA(Zone 9b)

I just love that second picture of this one Brugie. It sure looks like it should have color.

Chariton, IA(Zone 5b)

I know Kell, but she just won't. I've only had one big flush on her, and if I don't get her re-potted now I won't be able to do it until after this flush she is carrying right now has opened.

Kannapolis, NC(Zone 7b)

Shirley, you can repot her at my house. LOL Very pretty.

Brown City, MI(Zone 5a)

What a beautiful flower. I love the name you have chosen for "her".

Angleton, TX(Zone 9a)

It is beautiful and I would not care whether she had color or not. I hope you have some pollen to put on her.

Herbstein, Germany(Zone 5a)

Shirley, you may repot her now. It will not harm the buds, she is carrying. I always repot plants with buds without having problems.

Chariton, IA(Zone 5b)

Thanks Monika. This will be tomorrow's biggest job. We are to be 85 tomorrow, so I've got to get up early to get my heavy work done.

Orange Park, FL(Zone 8b)

She is a beauty!

Gulfport, MS(Zone 8a)

oooo, Brugie, I am so glad to see a picture of Carissa. You sent me a cutting last year, or year before, and it is big and about to bloom. It is really pretty.
