Trade these for seeds??

Villa Rica, GA(Zone 7a)

I've been busy making necklaces and bracelets and eye glass leashes out of beads. I made a few using the Job's tear seeds and some with just glass seed beads.
Wondering who would be interested in trading for them?
The pic is of the eye glass leashes.
Have many other necklaces, but will only post if someone is interested in seeing them.
What do you think?

See the list of colors on down on this thread.
I can pretty much make them to order but would really like to trade the ones I already have made up first.
Eaither way isn't a problem.
Wanna trade?

Just to let you all know I am all caught up with the trades I have made.
I have MORE colors now(Thanks Poppysue!) So if ya want something, just let me know.
She sent me some pretty cool looking beads too! I've made several different ones now and kinda stock pileing them.

Make me a offer....

Brooklet, GA(Zone 8a)

folks let me tell you that this jewelry is really pretty. my girls, all teens, got some from molly and the only problem they had was trying to decide. they liked them all. oh yeah molly, so great meeting you and your dh and your mom.

Villa Rica, GA(Zone 7a)

:) Thanks my friend.

Barnesville, GA(Zone 8a)

Molly, don't you dare send these just for postage, I bet they take time and a lot of patience to make! I think they are absolutely great and I just LOVE all three of mine! Unfortunately, I don't have my camera, or I'd be showing them off!

I just wish I could have seen the Jobe's tears, I forgot to ask! Oh, and don't forget to say that these stretch! I've gotten my hair caught in so many, I've broken them. AND they can be used for sunglasses too!

Please let me know if you'll do some Christmas orders cuz I know my sisters will love them. And please show the more necklaces so I can see all the different beads!

Thanks so much :D

Westbrook, ME(Zone 5a)

Mollybee, I'd trade for a few of those eyeglass holders. Maybe 4 or 5? I have lots of beading supplies. How about a trade for some beads? Of course I could always do plants or seeds too. I have a great big bag of daylily crosses in my fridge.

Needville, TX(Zone 9a)

Molly - I would also be interested in trade for some eyeglass holders (4-5)....could you post a picture of some more of these.

Harlem, GA(Zone 8a)

Molly they are lovely, and youre very talented :-) LMK how much youre selling them for postage for and I will check around and see if I know of anyone who would care to have these for Christmas for gifts.

I would use them for my sunglasses...thats a wonderful idea. :-) Hey do you do for the guys too??? Something less feminine? lol...bet the DH here would use them too if they had some masculine types lol...thanks

Glad to have me you Molly. Not to worry about being shy, some of us are ya know, and there is nothing wrong with that. Just get to know me and you'll think you've known me all your life. Good luck and LMK

Woodsville, NH(Zone 4a)

Molly, They are beautiful and very unique. Would love to see pictures of the others.

Villa Rica, GA(Zone 7a)

Here is a pic of all that I have made right now.
Most of them are necklaces and braclets. I only have the 3 eyeglass leashes right now and those are already promised to someone.
But I can make these things in just a short amount of time so if you want one like it, it wont be hard to whip up another one.

MOLLYBEE, what kinds of seeds are you looking for? I'd be happy to send you some things for a couple of the glass seed bead necklaces for Mom and Sister! Have any nice blues? John

Villa Rica, GA(Zone 7a)

E/mailing you now John.

Lenexa, KS(Zone 6a)

Molly--would like the 2nd necklace from the right if it's still available and the matching bracelet (looks to be white with dark blue beads). Look at my trade list and let me know what seeds you'd like. My DD would love these as a Christmas gift.

Villa Rica, GA(Zone 7a)

Here is a pic of the beads I have to use right now.
Might be hard to see but they are as follows:

Pearl white
blue
red
clear
black
copper/bronze/gold mix
silver
gold

Going tomorrow to get more colors and stuff.
If you really want these, please choose from the colors and e/mail me with your choice.
Example: Lots of silver with a touch of black and gold.
Meaning I would use the silver as the main color and use the other 2 colors to break up the silver and make a pattern.
Don't forget to add BEADS in the subject line along with your DG name.

Livermore, CA(Zone 9a)

Hi Molly Bee, I would be interested in trading for some . What kinds of plants and seeds are you looking for. I am getting ready to move soon. I do have lots of seeds and I will be cutting Brugs back before I move. I will also be taking some divisions of perrenials from this yard. Just give me some idea what you are looking for.

Patricia

Maben, MS(Zone 7b)

Molly, are you making watch bands also?

Villa Rica, GA(Zone 7a)

Patrica, Just send me a list of things you have to offer, I think that would be easier.

Ruth, Naa I haven't mastered the watch bands yet. Who knows I might give it a try one of these days :)

Oklahoma City, OK(Zone 7a)

Molly,

Do you have any idea of what it costs to make each necklace? You could sell these in a store here on Dave's Garden and make some money for Christmas. :)

I would love to have some of your necklaces. I'm thinking about buying them for Christmas presents. Would you be able to send me 6 necklaces and 4 bracelets? Yes, I know, that's a lot. :) I'm not in a rush, though, if you will be making them. As for colors, I'd like at least 1 to be mostly red with clear or gold. In one of your pictures above, I like the last 5 necklaces on the right (just to give you an idea of my tastes). The bracelets can be similar to the necklaces. Matching would be fine, too, but isn't necessary.

Would you prefer to have seeds (I have quite a few) or would you rather have some flower bulbs or even plants? I have some daylilies, asiatic lilies and some irises, too.

Thanks, dear.

Carla

Barnesville, GA(Zone 8a)

You tell her, Carla! She does great work!

Villa Rica, GA(Zone 7a)

Tell ya what Carla. you just surprise me :) Hows that sound??
Do you want stretchy cord or ones with barrel clasps on them?
The ones that stretch hold up better for kids. But the choice is yours.
I can send you the 5 that you like on the right or I can make ones you want of the color you choose.
So at least 1 with mostly red and clear or gold.
leaving the other 4 to be what color?? Your choice again.
Some of these have matching braclets already, but if the one you pick doesn't have a matching one I can whip one up real quick. The braclets don't take no time at all.
Also do you want long ones or short ones??
I don't measure any of them(which I know I should) but again the legnth isn't a problem.
Tell me what you want and I'll get them to you soon.

Fixin to e/mail you now Vi.

LOL here, sorry I called Carla Badseed! Guess when she said she wanted 5 I assumed it had to be Badseed wanting them for her girls!
So sorry!!

These are just gorgeous in person, y'all! Molly sent me a bracelet/necklace set and I LOVE them! Even Kenny was surprised and awed. I sent her a BIG thank you message and in her response, she said she'd thought about selling these in a DG store, but wasn't sure they were good enough. Come on, y'all ~ tell her how GOOD they really are! I think selling them in a DG store is a WONDERFUL idea! And I know there are MANY of you who agree with me. They're WONDERFUL!

I've been meaning to post about mine to show them off, but have been so busy, so I'm glad to see this thread. So here's a pic of mine. I just LOVE them! (BTW, Molly, you couldn't have picked better colors for me. :)

I'm open for more offers, I'm all caught up with everyone far as I know.
I can't wait for you all to get your things, and hear what you think of them. :)

Springfield, MA(Zone 6a)

mollybe,
great work. i looooove the set you made for wingnut. the colors and pattern flow so nicely together.
i am a crafts person, although beading hasn't been one of my things, yet... lol
on our trip to jamaica recently, we went to there craft market. the women made all of there beaded jewelry. i bought some for my grandbabies. they all loved them.
on another trip i brought beads for my hair to be used when they braided my hair and i brought others to trade, for them to do the braiding. worked out great for me and them. i had purchased the beads at walmart on clearance. everyone was happy with the trade. :-)

i have seeds, asiatic bulbs and bulbettes, if you do other types of crafting i have supplies, wooden objects etc... i can trade with you, and on our trip i picked 2 different types of seeds, in cozumel. the first picture is of a red flowering plant, that grows in the sand near to the ocean. the other is a palm tree.

Thumbnail by debi_z
Springfield, MA(Zone 6a)

the palm tree seeds came from a restaurant called pancho's backyard. they were on the ground, some setting there roots, near the base of the trees, were the earth was exposed.

Thumbnail by debi_z
Villa Rica, GA(Zone 7a)

debi_z,
That first plant is beautiful!
What can we trade for some seeds? Right now I don't have the room to do all my wood crafts that I use to do. So I have to settle for doing bead work.
Let me know what we can trade for.

L.A. (Canoga Park), CA(Zone 10a)

I would like to trade for a red or blue necklace around 17 inches in length. I don't think I have any seeds that are suitable for beads, except maybe wisteria, which are disks, not round beads. Pride-of-Barbados seeds are probably bead-able, but they are sort of irregular in shape. If you'd like seeds to grow, please check my seed list. Plants I have available to trade are listed in the following link.
http://davesgarden.com/t/403320/ Not listed there are also cuttings of about 8 species of kalanchoe and babies of several species of aloe.

Villa Rica, GA(Zone 7a)

Ok Kelli, I should be able to get yours out in the next day or 2. I'll post here when I mail them out.

As for everyone else, I think I have e/mailed everyone.
Most of you should be recieving your stuff this week. Possibly tomorrow or Thursday.
Ya'll be sure and let me know when ya get your's so I wont be worried.

Hope you all enjoy the things I have sent, I have had so much fun making these for ya'll.

L.A. (Canoga Park), CA(Zone 10a)

Thanks Mollybee! Your cactus is being mailed today.
