If you got Tequila Sunrise from me

Westbrook, ME(Zone 5a)

There's been a mix up with the name. My Tequila Sunrise should be marked Gypsy Queen (it's sister).

A lot of these went out with the cuttings I recently sent. So if you got one from me... please take note and change your tag.

Sorry everyone.... I try to be careful about marking them correctly.

Thanks Sue I will chage my tag to the correct name

Thanks for the alert, Poppysue. I didn't have Gypsy Queen either, so it was no disappointment for me. Just glad you caught it before anyone else passed along the mislabeling next year. Nuff confusion on names and mislabeling as it is. Changed the label and updated my spreadsheet. :-)

Oops....Thanks Sue for letting me know! I'm still just as happy with GQ!!! Thanks again!

I love this brug! I accidentally gave away my last cutting in the spring, and got one back this weekend!

Yukon, OK(Zone 7b)

Please someone tell me the difference. Since I've never actually seen a brug bloom in person and I am not familiar with Tequila Sunrise or Gypsy Queen (both are beautiful) could someone tell me the difference in the two? Just curious!!!

tiG - what's your opinion? Does this look more like Gypsy Queen to you? The blooms turn quite orange as they age.

Brinda - the two are sisters from Eric Knight's hybridizing. I don't have any of the other siblings ... just this one, so I can't comment too much on their differences.

they are sisters, but GQ is much prettier, heavier bloomer too.

Thanks for letting us know, Sue. Since I didn't have either one, not a problem! I'm thrilled to have a cutting of "Gypsy Queen"!! HUGS!!!

I just love my GQ too, don't worry anyone, you won't be disappointed!

Sue, did you notice it's scent in the daylite hours? I think folks might think I'm crazy, but it's such a different (fruity?) scent, I don't think I'm confused--I have to go and smell it every day and every nite!

Harlem, GA(Zone 8a)

Hi Sue! I absolutely will adore her just as I would have the other, so not to worry my dear....it will be loved and tended as if one of my own chillen's lol...

Thanks again dear, changing the tag now.

Have a Blessed Evening Sue :-)
