This was taken a couple of weeks ago. Are these ready to harvest or do I need to leave them on a little longer?........... :o)

I have been gathering mine just as they crack open. Have to check them every day.I then sread the seeds & allow them to dry before I put them in the fridg.

If you don't have time to keep a close check on them you can tie a nylon stocking over them and if they split open you won't lose the seeds.

Dee, the seed pod will turn into light tan color. then it will be begin to crack and open. follow snowhermit's advice or the seeds will disperse on the ground.
