Thank you -- I like it too. I bought it from a nursery in my area (Texas Hill Country) this past April in a 4" pot. Its now 5' tall and loaded with blooms.

I love that flower. Too bad I can't get it! I'm in Florida not Texas!

Sorry Sassytiger, I've been out of town... Are you sure you can't get it in FL? It should grow there.

Lakeland, FL

I'm not sure! I have never seen this plant anywhere around here!

Its a prolific reseeder in my garden. If I end up catching any seeds this Fall (I'm in and out of town this time of year), I'll be happy to send you some... E-mail me. Gretchen

Delray Beach, FL(Zone 10a)

I bought this plant at Home Depot, Delray Beach, Fl., about two years ago. Easy to grow in sun and partial shade and it does reseed itself quite nicely.

Lakeland, FL

I don't live in Delray Beach, Florida...... I live in Lakeland.

Vidor, TX

I have this plant in SE Texas and it is doing great in its first year...Do they die back in winter??

GOD's Green Earth, United States(Zone 8b)

Yes, completely to the ground. And they are slow to return. In fact each Spring I fear that it hasn't survived, as its the last thing in my garden to emerge. I have been told that its easily porpagated by cuttings, but I haven't tried. Good luck with yours!!!

Mason, OH

I wanted to buy all the colors because we used to enjoy them in India.I used to have purple one in Tampa FL and I gave that to my friend when I moved to OH.Last week I happened to see puple one with stripes at my friends place and It's surprisingly surviving as a house plant. Is there an online store Ican buy?

I have no idea....I've only seen the lavender colored ones like I have. I bought it at a Texas nursery. I sure wish I could help you. Maybe if you search the internet via Google or Yahoo you might be able to find it. Good luck!
