Great photo!

Are there your trees?

I many did you start with?

I'm planning on growing one for my appartment from seed but haven't gotten the seed yet. Any suggestions?

No,
She's not mine. I saw it about 2 miles from my house and had to share it. This is 1 "tree", the owner was not sure of the age.
I do have 6 or 7, mainly 3 year olds in pots, I also have a 10-15? year old, 4 foot tall trunk, 26" diameter base, also in a pot. I live on an Air Force Base and I'm guaranteed to move in a few years, so I don't put them in the ground.
My experience from seed is good, I received 10 seeds an few months ago and 7 germinated in (soaked a few days) bagged in vermiculite, warm, moist and lit (my garage) and are happy in their little pots now.
Great, no maintenance plants.
Thanks!
Bo

Whoa! I have always thought of this as "the little plant that I have to put on a high shelf so the cats wont gnaw it to death" not "that uber-huge thing over there with the bajillion trunks that the cats would hide in" lol :)

neat picture
