Transplanting a dwarf orange tree

I have a 6' dwarf orange tree (in the ground, not in a container) that needs to be moved. When is the best time and what is the best method to do this transplant? I live in zone 10.

I don't know the answer to your question.

I am considering the same action with a small Lime tree. I understand this is the best time for other fruit trees, but I am not sure about citrus.

I will keep a watch on this thread to see if anyone knows.
