Newcomer: Please check out my available items!
You have mail.
I'd be interested in obtaining seeds for the lemon balm, lemon verbena, pineapple sage and purple basal. Take a look at my trade list and let's set up a trade. Thanks for the offer.
Love to have some of your Pineapple sage if possible. I've just updated my tradelist.
Be careful with that lemon balm (Melissa officinalis). It is related to mint, so gets invasive quickly (at least mine does). It looks best as a 12-18 inch high clump, in full leaf. After that and during bloom time, it gets leggy and floppy. The fragrance reminds me of Fruit Loops! Very intense sweet lemon. Cut back for renewed growth.
I have a Lemon Balm patch 4x15 In the state of Indiana it's lemon scent is very fresh, it has stayed full and thick all yr.
we mow the yard around it so it stays in it's place, out of all my herbs I like it best.
Today I read : Lord help me be the person my dog thinks I am
Hearty welcome to you, from another newbie. Don't have anything much to trade yet, but I look forward to doing so in the future. I love that quote about the dog!
