A white Dr suess?

Norwalk, IA(Zone 5b)

Just got this plant today. Was from a seed pod off a Dr Suess that came from Texas. The grower didn't know the other parent. But many different leaf shapes on about 20 seedlings. I brought two of them home..this one has serrated leaves that for the most part looks like Dr Suess and has the same shaped flowers..even the scent seems the same..I thought I better have it. :-) SOMEONE HELP ME!!!!! LOL

Kyle, you're looking to the wrong group to offer help - LOL. It looks a little skinier than Dr Suess to me. Does it recurve at all?

Chariton, IA(Zone 5b)

So, now you have two more plants than you did yesterday. You can always make room for two more. It is those times that we bring home a dozen that get me into trouble. If it smells as good as Suess, I'd love it too.

Yep,I'm no help here in the sympathy department.
A white with the smell of DS!!!!!!

Norwalk, IA(Zone 5b)

Poppysue it has about the same recurve as the Dr.And the fragrance is heavy and sweet.

I'll use it for breeding purposes..because it has both white and yellow in its genes now.

Tiny little whiskers. Don't Dr. S have a bit more length (and trust me folks...I have no knowledge re brugs...just learning!)

Norwalk, IA(Zone 5b)

Horseshoe they lok small in the frontal pic because they are recurved behind the corolla flare...see the first pic for the actual length.

Ahah!...thanks Eclipse! I see the difference now.
Nice! (Thank you!) (I have some weird Brugs in my rows...am learning to look at them. Forgive me!)

Very pretty! I am in big trouble also. I went out the other night to save one I was tossing. A white one. LOL. No hope for me either!

Hempstead, TX(Zone 8b)

can one flower be pollonated from mulitlpe pollens donors? maybe that is why all the seedlings look different?
if the seed came from me. (i sent out lots last season.)
it could be any number of brugs i have them pretty grouped. dr.suess, dr.d isabella and an unnamed white. plus a white seedling i got from eric that i call fertle myrtle because she is the super fertle one with huge seed pods.
now i am starting to get flowers from cala's seeds. wow they are so beautiful and producing seed pods too. lol. these are eventide x ? and everlasting x l'amour with a few whites from seed last yr.

San Leandro, CA(Zone 9b)

farngirl, please post the eventide seedling pics. I would just love to see them. Esp the everlasting X L'Amour. I would think you would get some special ones from those. I am dying to know the colors from those 2 Moms.
