Another 2003 seedling. It's not named yet till I see next summer if it will turn darker and drop it's skirt more.
Light orange double seedling
Hope it drops the skirt and turns dark orange! Even so... it's purdy just the way it is.
I hope so too Poppy. They bloomed late when the weather was cooler so there's hope. This one went through a bad wind and rain storm and held up very well.
TWO DOUBLES????? well if that aint a feather in your cap snow I dont know what would be :) good for you.... cheryl
Plays, I had four doubles out of 6 seedlings but two got composted. They didn't hold up well in the wind.
Congrats! I hope this one gets darker for you, and blooms and blooms!
Lucky you. I'd say to get 4 out of six that were doubles is pretty good. Hope this one gets darker next summer.
Who were the parents? Can you sneak a pink in there? LOL. It just has to happen one of these days!
I sure hope you get them to do what you want. you must be very pleased with your results. I think that is wonderful and will be looking forward to being able to purchase doubles in the future.
Did all the doubles have color?
CC all but one had orange in them.
Looking forward to seeing this one next summer. I know you will keep us posted in warmer weather.
I can't wait to see it next summer too. I'm hoping it will be darker and not turn white it's second season.
I hope you pollinated some of these.
lol, me too!!
Congrats Snow. I'll keep my fingers crossed. That's incredible to get 4 out of 6.
