One of my pink 2003 seedlings. It turns a nice dark pink.
Thanks Shirley for such a good job raising it.
Mountain Treasure
Whew!!!!Terry how did you come up with the name, sorry if you have said elsewhere,I must have missed it.
That's a beauty, Terry. It's a gorgeous color.
nice shot--I like the way the light plays across it,---really shows up against that dark pink :) good job all the way around. cheryl
Terry .... that is a beauty! Congrats to you and Shirley both!!!
Thanks everyone.
Root, I named one and Monika said I should have a Mountain series. Since I live on a mountain and this is where they were pollinated I thought it was a fitting name for my seedlings.
Thanks!This is a great Brug!
This was probably the prettiest pink brug I had in my garden this year. It was so nice and dark and bloomed like crazy. Terry's cross is a real winner. Oh yes, it withstood a lot of wind and the bugs didn't bother it as much as some of the others. I had no spider mites this year, but I'd rather fight them than the cucumber beetles.
Sounds as if you are getting the kind we like. Good color, can stand heat, bugs don't bother it. What more could you ask for?
Thanks for sharing, it is a beauty!
Wait until Kell sees this one. It is a beauty.
It's beautiful, too! Wait until next year, when you have the sisters blooming side by side!! You'll never want to leave your garden.
This is such a lovely colored brug. So far all my seedlings have turned out white. I still have a few
more with buds on them. I am sure hoping they bloom out before we get frost.
Terry, that is a beautiful pink and good shape. The seedlings I am growing for you are all about 3 feet tall and I am waiting for them to Y. They might still make it.
Barb, I hope you get something really great from those seedlings. Fingers crossed.
Wow snowhermit!!! That is absolutely stunning!! And its here in the States even! WTG!! This is exciting!
Beautiful Terry, I will be watching for more Mountain Series. I love the dark pink color, only problem is they need to be in my yard.
Your mountain series are wonderful hybrids. Congratulations!
Your seedlings are just gorgeous.......
I wanna be you.......
Thanks everyone. I can't tell you how happy these seedlings have made me. It will be great to add something nice to the US Brug line.
I can't take all the credit though. I have to thank my two good friends Brugie and tiG for the time and good care they gave to growing these two seedlings.
Awww, shucks Ma!! Yer makin' me face turn red. Seriously, it was a pleasure to be able to grow the seedlings I grew from Terry's crosses, especially when this one turned up. It was much better to look at in person and I'm hoping it will improve with age and another year in my garden.
What a treat to see the seedlings in person. I think we should organize a seedlings tour!
Too late to see much in my garden except the weeds that the flowers were growing over and hiding. Hopefully by Monday evening, I won't have any more watering or garden work to do outside. I'll start mowing leaves before long. I hate that job, but these oaks and maples would have us up to our eyeballs in leaves if I didn't keep them chopped up.
Just beautiful ladies! You guys did a great job.
Yes you sure did.
SnowHermit, What a lovely shot of a beautiful pink brug.
I havae been out of town for most of the past three weeks and have missed all of you and the great photography of your many brugs. Donna
Another very pretty one. Are the two sisters? I bet it was fun seeing such a pretty bloom escaping from the calyx.
It's great to have you back rutholive. Brugie does take beautiful pictures.
BrugNanny, yes they are sisters.
Very pretty sisters. Now we have to wait on the ones Barbara is growing . . I bet there are some more beauties!
