The first snowdrop of the year

Galanthus peshmenii is one of first snowdrops to bloom. Or is it the last?! When it opens I'll post another photo.

that sure is beautifull. did it full out quickly because it looked very slender.mine looked like this.

Boots mine is Galanthus peshmenii, an autumn flowering Galanthus, but yours look like Galanthus elwesii. It opened quickly because of the warm autumn we are having.

Mitjo you are very late planting your snowdrops. I dont think they will form roots before your ground is frozen. Good luck with them

Hmm, but they dont have to start to make roots. They have to start make roots and flowers when when spring comes. At least they said in the nursery that now is right time to plant Snowdrops.
