Even after having all her leaves frosted off, she is putting on new ones and some of the buds have held on and will open. She is a tough old cookie.

Arlene, they started opening today. Here is a picture. Not dark in color, but the shape is still there.
Even the calyx on these blooms was burned by the cold and wind.

Big! That is such a pretty one, love those long tendrils.
You forgot,they got frosted,whipped with wind,and survived Root with a shovel,LOL!!!!!
What a year,I have tons of bruised blooms,beat up by a storm.lets hope for a great year coming up!
