IF I BRING IT IN WILL I LOSE THE BUDS? THE OTHER DOUBLE WHITE ONE IS NOT LEANING-IT IS JUST BEGINNING TO SHOW SOME BUDS. I HAVE SOME GROW LIGHTS I CAN PUT ON THEM-BUT WHAT DO YOU THINK? IT IS SUPPOSED TO GET IN HIGH 40S TO MID 50S TONIGHT AS WELL.I KNOW I CAN PLANT THEM IN THE GROUND IN MY ZONE,BUT REALLY AM AFRAID TO LET MY BABIES GO. AT LEAST NOT THIS YEAR-HAVE PUT TOO MUCH TIME AND EFFORT IN THEM. THANK FOR ALL YOUR HELP-LIVE IN 8A
PLEASE ADVISE
Hi newangle, mine do that too, especially when they get heavy with blooms and buds. What I do is just prop it up until it finishes blooming, then cut it back when I think it may get really cold, like in the thirties or something or when a frost is expected. You say it is on your deck, is the deck covered? I would think I would worry more about the frost than the 40's with Dr. Seus and a covered deck would protect from frost. I have put sheets over mine when I thought a frost was coming.
