San Leandro, CA(Zone 9b)

Nice Pod too! I am thinking double pink CC!!!

So you have a loose lady there! LOL. So tell me who she is. EDW? A real stunner.

San Antonio, TX(Zone 9a)

She dropped her skirt and now she is even more beautiful. lol Which one is she. I'm growing fonder and fonder of the white ones.

Cedar Key, FL(Zone 9a)

I can't tell what she is....

I thought it was Enchanted DW ,but maybe I mixed up the tag with Candida DW
and while I was taking the picture I spotted a tiny ripe pod,I was so sure it was no good ,cause it was soooo small, that I almost tossed it.I was thinking it rotted cause it got moved in the GH.
Well I opened it,and it had 7 seeds LOL

It was a DW X butterfly.....

They are potted up......

Lima, OH(Zone 5a)

Good girl.......I mean you, not that hussy.

Vancleave, MS(Zone 8b)

Awesome Chick. She is very beautiful

Cedar Key, FL(Zone 9a)

3rd one is lake effect,its a single......

Burlington, ON(Zone 6a)

CC, I have both CDW and EDW and the CDW has a much more velvety leaf than EDW which has almost no hair on the leaves, does this help? Also, for me, CDW rarely drops it's second bloom where as EDW does drop it almost every flower.
This was my CDW yesterday.

I like your Lake Effect! The flowers have a lovely shape. They look pure white too. Very pretty.

San Leandro, CA(Zone 9b)

Very pretty Ruth Ann.

CC, how did it get the name Lake Effect. That is sure different!

Kentwood, LA(Zone 8b)

Very nice CC. I hope it gets some pink to it.

Woodsville, NH(Zone 4a)

Beautiful blooms CC. I love the dropped skirts.

Cedar Key, FL(Zone 9a)

If you lived here Kell you'd know what Lake Effect is.....
Anyone coming to Upstate NY in the winter finds out what Lake Effect is...LOL,and they never want to see it again.....LOL

San Leandro, CA(Zone 9b)

so I take it you do not love your Lake Effect brug CC. LOL

Tulsa, OK(Zone 6b)

Kell, the (warm?) air coming up from the lake tickles the snowclouds & makes them drop all their snow on the poor people who live by the lakes. They talk about it a lot on the weather channel during the winter.

Both brugs are really pretty, CC. The only double I've had bloom so far is Shredded White. I have CDW, but haven't gotten blooms yet.

Cedar Key, FL(Zone 9a)

Naw,I love it,but its always blooming white....just like a Lake Effect storm...all you see is white......

Woodsville, NH(Zone 4a)

Get your boots ready CC. That white stuff will soon be upon us.

Cedar Key, FL(Zone 9a)

NNNOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!

I'm not ready!!!!!!

Chariton, IA(Zone 5b)

Terry, shame on you for saying that.....LOL!! I'm not quite ready.

San Leandro, CA(Zone 9b)

The weather in NJ has been so mild. Just my favorite kind, sweater weather. Much like it is in the bay area. I just bought my mother lots of mums to cheer up her doorway. I guess I better cut back the huge coleus and bring in some bouquets of it just in case.

Woodsville, NH(Zone 4a)

Sorry for using that bad word. I wish it would hold off till Christmas but I don't think it will. We already had some a couple of weeks ago when this picture was taken. Our weatherman said we could get some more tomorrow in the mountains.
Sooooo CC I still say get those boots ready. LOL

Looks like it is getting close. We are going to be in the low eighties for two or three days and then down we go. I think this will be our last big burst of warm weather for this year.

Cedar Key, FL(Zone 9a)

80's????

I'm happy when its in the high 50's!!!

I snowed about 10 miles north of here, and one night when I had to go up north it was snowing lightly......but not here so far...I do still have dahlias and cannas blooming outside.
When we had those frosts I got up REAL early and sprayed everything with the hose .It worked..........

Chariton, IA(Zone 5b)

Karyn, it was a beautiful day here today. I spent the afternoon taking and preparing cuttings for mailing and fighting those Asian Lady Beetles. There must be thousands of them hovering around the siding and plants. Anyway, I'm just hoping to enjoy the last nice weather that we will have. I can work out there later with a jacket on. I remember you having to deal with a lot of snow last year while working. I hope you have a better winter this year.

Medford, NJ(Zone 6b)

I'd love to see that one in person!!

Cedar Key, FL(Zone 9a)

Bringing this back up to clarify.

The first pictures are of a double white brug, not sure if its Candidia double white or Enchanted Double white. It is a plant, not a vine

Lake Effect is a single white seedling that I am hanging on to to see if its worth keeping.

I feel really bad but someone emailed me about the double and I accidently blacklisted and bounced their email.Who ever it was ,sorry.......hanging my head.......

Brundidge, AL(Zone 8b)

LOL i am glad i am not the only one that has done that creastedchik my husband says i get in a hurry and hit buttons before i think( he is right) but don't tellhim.... your double it beautiful mine never would drop it's skirt It is fully loaded and will open up again any day I hope now that it is a little cooler i can see two skirts for once, hopefully before it frosts here
