Need your help!

New Iberia, LA(Zone 9a)

Today I was cleaning around the yard and decided to move few of my brugs in pots. One of brug ( S. White) grow so big and is in small pot, less a gallon! I have hard to pull it out which the roots went through to the ground. SHould I cut the root and repot it. I just found out, it just buds and even it's Y too.. It haven't been bloom since I got this cutting last late summer. What should I do?

Minischnuz, it won't hurt it to cut the roots off. If you're going to let it keep growing this winter go ahead and repot it in a larger container.

Or cut the pot away, that is what I ended up having to do to a few.

I always cut the roots off and then repot when it is that potbound.

Thanks! I am going to do it in the morning! I hope they won't wilt after I repot.. Yes, I am going to keep it in the garage in winter time with all my brugs! I really can keep them in ground but not yet for a while. WE need to do landscape around the house next spring that we need to get few loads of dirts then most of brugs will be the ground!
