Meiyu called me this morning to come see her brugs. That girl really has a green thumb. They are all either covered in blooms or buds, and the foliage on all of them is lush and dark green. All of her plants are the same way. It was wonderful to get to see some of them in person, instead of just a picture. Rosamond is gorgeous, as well as Snowbank. Oh what the heck, they were all gorgeous, just like I hope mine are going to be next year.
She said she put osmocote in the planting hole when she planted them, then fed them Super Bloom once a month, as well Superthrive in the Spring. It must do the trick, because they were gorgeous.

accdg to Meiyu, she bought Windsor white in a local nursery in San Antonio. the flower of this brug she says is the size of a dinner plate. the fragrance is also nice.

I didn't get to see the Windsor White blooming. It had loads of buds on it, and Meiyu told me that the bloom was huge when it opened.
She didn't talk much about her health problems, so I don't really know. I didn't want to ask her too much, because I felt that if she wanted to tell me she would. She was really working away in her yard but, as I said before, that could be to take her mind off things. I know she worries a lot about her mother and feels bad that she had to put her in a nursing home. She just didn't have the strength to take care of her anymore by herself. I did see the Tiara though, and it was beautiful.
Sylvia, glad u finally were able to meet with Meiyu. u were right, she keep herself busy in her yard to take her mind off her health.
