Challenge Week 9, Day 4

Albany (again), NY(Zone 5b)

Hi there folks! Quick update on my side. I was feeling very unmotivated and down yesterday - work has been uninspiring, etc. - I was planning to go to the gym and almost canceled and went home, but I took a different route - rationalizing that if I was depressed, at least I might as well have ONE good thing for the day - a good workout. I wasn't as vigorous as possible, but was able to increase the exercycle another minute, keep the RPMs about 85-90 and still do the full set of weight machines afterwards.

The scales are still not showing any progress, but I am definitely seeing more muscle and tone. A very long ways to go, but it's a start.

I hate chasing these pounds - there has to be some point where toning and muscle are done and pounds drop, right?
