I think it's Rosamond! Very nice by the way.

Westbrook, ME(Zone 5a)

My Rosamond only has one split in the calyx. Those big leaves make me think it's Butterfly.

Harrisville, MI(Zone 5b)

This very well could be Butterfly,I did not think I had it.

Westbrook, ME(Zone 5a)

Don't take my word for it, Root. Ya better get some more opinions! It's a pretty one... what ever it is.

San Leandro, CA(Zone 9b)

I would say Rosamond but I am no Butterfly expert so Sue maybe right. Did you get it from Brugie Root?

LOL Sue, I just went out to look at my Rosamond and it has a few blooms with one split, most with a big split and a smaller slit on the other side and even a few with equal splits and one I saw had 3 splits. All on 1 bush! LOL.

Harrisville, MI(Zone 5b)

Pretty sure I did Kell,it was her or you Glory,I did not get a lot of cutting in the winter, sure did get some keepers. So,don't let my forgetfulness with tags, think that I don't love everyone of them,or the people that sent them!!!!
I am seeing Brugs I did not know existed this time last fall.
Thank you all!

Looks like Pink Beauty to me.

Murrells Inlet, SC(Zone 8a)

Mary, I thought the same thing. Pink Beauty or Rosamond would be my guesses. I've had all 3 (pb,bf,rmd) blooming at the same time this week and the bf is much darker in color than the other 2. PB and rmd look very much alike.

city?? lol sticks, AR(Zone 7a)

what ever it is-------its beautimous root :) cheryl

San Antonio, TX(Zone 9a)

David,which one is BF?

Murrells Inlet, SC(Zone 8a)

Sylvia, there is a pic of my buttefly blooming on a thread I started on page 4.

Chariton, IA(Zone 5b)

I think it is Rosamond. I had a pot with two in it this spring tagged Pink Beauty that you and Renee split and shared. However, it was Rosamond. Then I lost mine, but I've got good friends who have shared with me.

NO, NO!! My brain just kicked in. See my next post.

Okay....what you have is Pink Beauty from CC. It nearly croaked on me last summer in the garden and I had to dig it up and cut it back. I made a ton of cuttings from it. Kyle and Kell are the only ones that I remember getting Rosamond.

Harrisville, MI(Zone 5b)

Just got my package from Kell!I would put her up a brug pic,but every bloom is bruised from the storm last night, what a year.
Kell you have mail!

Hattiesburg, MS(Zone 8a)

I believe it is Rosamond from the caylax.

Barnesville, GA(Zone 8a)

No scent, Root?

Cedar Key, FL(Zone 9a)

I thought it looked like pink beauty

Marshfield, MO(Zone 6a)

The calyx on my pink beauty looks like your Rosamond, Barbara, lol.

Marshfield, MO(Zone 6a)

Here is a pic of what I bought on ebay as Pink Beauty, looks like Barb's rosamond.

Vi,hard to say,it is faint, and a foot away from this GT,and GT is becoming one of my Favs!,the scent is so strong, now that I know how to get pollen,I guess I better get back out there!

Boy, I think these two have been misnamed all over the place. Looks like the calyx is a good place to start for IDing here. I'm going to have to watch mine closely next year and get them tagged properly from the git go. Thanks so much Barb for getting this straightened out.

Barb, when I compare the picture you posted on this thread, http://davesgarden.com/fp.php?pid=662196 I am totally confused again. Are we having fun yet?

Hattiesburg, MS(Zone 8a)

Brugie, that is only what I have. Hopefully it is correct.I received my Pink Beauty from Europe and the
Rosamond from Susie.

Rootdoctor, how beautiful----I continue to have problems with GT. It gets a blight from being wet and the dry- much like black spot on Tomato fruit. It may be my high humidity but I understand that yellows are very susceptible to this problem. If you can spare a few cuttings, would be glad to trade.

Chariton, IA(Zone 5b)

I'm going to watch mine next year and see if I can see the differences. Thanks for pointing out the calyx difference.

Hattiesburg, MS(Zone 8a)

Brugie, If I am not mistaken, Rosamond and Pink Beauty are sisters? Do you remember Monika saying something about that? The earlier picture was taken in the spring. Both of the pictures I posted today were taken the same day-Monday. I didn't have Rosamond until the June. #@%$#@ I don't know. The only thing I am sure about is that I will check my Rosamond and PB again tomorrow. HELP!!!everytime I think I have this straightened out I am confused again.

Harrisville, MI(Zone 5b)

Barb,I will send you a cutting,GT is not a yellow in my eyes,it has a color all its own,and a very waxy sheen, color seems to be more golden cream,IMHO,
Shirley told me about the calyx,is the split what you are going by?the way it separates?or the size?

Also,my tendrils do not all curl in the same direction swirl, like Kells.

San Leandro, CA(Zone 9b)

I do not think you can go by that Root because the flower keeps changing its shape. Never boring.

All mine, labeled PB or Rosamond have the big calyx. LOL Will we ever know?

Barnesville, GA(Zone 8a)

I'd still like to follow the scent thing...
(I do listen 'er read y'all)

Chariton, IA(Zone 5b)

Yes, I did know they are sisters, so I guess it isn't going to be a huge disaster if we have them mixed up. I just can't get over how beautiful your pictures are. You and Kell can sure take some great magazine quality pictures.

Newberry, FL(Zone 8B)

My pink beauty came from you Barb, and Monika thought it might be Rosamond from the pics. i have been calling it pink beauty/rosamond since it started blooming last year. it would be really funny if it was neither, there are at least 4-5 siblings of this that all look similar.

Gulfport, MS(Zone 8a)

Arlene, the strange thing about my pink beauty and rosemond is that the blooms thay are making now are entirely different colored than the ones that bloomed in the summer. Last summer, pink beauty was much lighter pink than rosemond, but now I can barely tell the difference. Do you find the heat affects the color of your brugs? are they lighter in the summer than when cooler?

San Antonio, TX(Zone 9a)

Which one is GT? It is a very pretty bloom.

Chariton, IA(Zone 5b)

Goldtraum

Newberry, FL(Zone 8B)

Roz, i have noticed the color change in pink brugs before, it makes them even more gorgeous to me, how they change. I don't remember PB or BF being lighter this summer. I think soil pH and maybe something else also affect color.
I know you guys will have a great time this week, please hug Glory, Frannie, and Lisa for me. I would love to have been able to be there.
