I am beginning to figure out that one man's weed is another's gotta have. I was dividing the striped spider and have a pile of babies. Does anyone want them for postage?
Spider Babies
I'd love a handful if they don't have any other plans. :)
id take a handful too please! :)
Wow! Spiders don't look for homes long around here! Two hands full of spiders on their way to badseed and not martha. Send me your addys. Do you want a few green babies too?
I would love to have 2 or 3 striped babies if there's some left. Just enough to get a small pot of them started.
you can give joan a few out of my handful! ;)
Will do.
By all means, share my handful with Joan too!! Just saw this, will E you shortly.
I have lots of spider babies. Not to worry. The ones pictured are just the ones that happened to fall off, I have dozens and dozens still hanging around. The babies have babies! There are probably 20 babies or so in that pile.
oohhh can I have a few as well, will you include one of the dice?
Narc/Vicki
Sorry narc, no dice ;-) I use them to teach patterns and addition and multiplication. Spiders you can have though.
ROTF I saw the dice package and was going to make a comment then decided to behave. I don't do that TOO often.
Hey, let no container be recycled befor its time! Many a hopper has been housed in there!
Best way I know to teach the seven times tables (the top and bottom always equal seven) The boys especially respond well to learning with dice-imagine that! I will be moving up to middle schoolers this year-if the durned district ever gets all of the paperwork straightened out! It will be a brave new world. Dice will probably still work though LOL. I can see it all now. Mrs Howes and the remedial class pitching dice behind the gym. Ah well. I had the noisiest classes last year and I suspect nothing will change. I had kids go from the 40th percentile to the 80's in math, so no one complained too much.
Hi Frog
Ok.... no dice, just spiders.
Way Cool on the numbers above, I know that math was one of the hardest subjects for me. Where were you then?? ;)
I will send you an e-mail.
Narc/Vicki
No dice!?! LOL
Frog, I am very impressed. As my kids are in a seriously ailing school district, I am very impressed! They are in their third different school and I also home schooled awhile. Sad that the only choice you have sometimes is pretty much no choice! Luckily they are smart and good students.
Perfect example of why I'm torturing myself at my age to become a teacher! I've been having second thoughts about my liscensure area... but second semester of my Junior year isn't a good time to be changing majors...
Sorry for hi-jacking your thread....I'd love spider plants too, but the cats don't like houseplants much... they confuse them for litter boxes. :-(
Spiders are packed and ready to go. They will be at the PO at 8AM
Spiders may not make a good litter box but they are great toys. Mine hang down about 7'.
Frogsrus:
If you have any baby spiders left, I'd like to have some for postage. I can send you an address label and a priority mail stamp if that'll make things easier for you. Please e-mail me and let me know. Thank-you.
got them sending out postage-THANK YOU!
I got my plants today! Thank you so much. I'm mailing the postage today.
Hugs,
Joan
Mine are here too! I am mailing you *something* or postage?? LOL But, it won't be today. Just did the mall with all five girls and have to get ready for work in an hour. ack.
Mail me something. 5 girls at a mall. my hat's off to the Queen. You are the bravest woman I know.
The Spiders have Landed!
Frog, thank you so much, it's been a pleasure doing business with you.
Take Care
Narc/Vicki
LOL Janice! One something will be mailed out soon. Did you get the email today?
Janice:
The spiders arrived yesterday. Thank-you very much. With all that is going on, I appreciate you making the time to mail them out. :-)
