IS THIS FROSTY PINK

COLUMBUS, OH(Zone 6a)

Is this the frosty pink brug? I cut it back because of the frost a few weeks ago but covered part of it and it started blooming after I took off the covering.

Thanks for your help Kell. That was quick with the info. I have some cuttings that have rooted already.I don't have a basement or garage. They are in the laundry room. I hope they'll be alright this winter. Any suggestions?

If small cutitngs I think you need to keep them growing over winter. I would think if it gets enough light that should be fine. I have some in my dining room that grow great all winter. I just do not fertilize until a few weeks before I am going to put them outside in the spring. Also watch for spider mites. If small enough, I would give them a complete shower in the kitchen sink once in a while.

Hibiscus would be a great one to share her ways as she lives in the same zone with you. And she is an old pro at this. Knows tons.

I am being so bad today. have things I do not want to do so am sitting here on the computer hoping they will go away! Sadly, they haven't so I must get a move on soon!

Kell said most all. I keep my favorites and small brugs growing upstairs all winter, mostly in unheated rooms/lot of window light. Have some in canary bird room, which is heated, has florescent shop lights, they even bloom for me in the wintertime.

Thanks so much Hibiscus. I'll do my best to save them.
