My Bonsai Brug Bloom...

Chariton, IA(Zone 5b)

I was out looking at the brugs tonight and picked this bloom. Can't remember which brug I picked it off of, but it was cute and so tiny that I had to show it. Sorry it is a little fuzzy, but I don't hold a camera well with only one hand.

Oh my.....too cute!!!

Lima, OH(Zone 5a)

Such a baby, what will it grow up to be?

Chariton, IA(Zone 5b)

Doc and I were out there for about a half hour or more just smelling brugs. Oh my gosh, that Arborea smells so good and so does the double peach. They all smell wonderful. Why couldn't I have had blooms all summer when I could have sat outside and enjoyed them.....

Did he bring Goofy with him?

San Leandro, CA(Zone 9b)

next year Brugie! Next year! Give Root a hug from me, that devil!

Chariton, IA(Zone 5b)

CC, he will probably post a picture or two when he gets home. Cute little guy, that Goofy.

I sure hope the brugs will bloom normally next year. I think those of us who had bad luck this year deserve a break next summer.

I just want a summer next summer...this year seemed to go from a VERY long winter...to a very cold ,wet spring to fall,no real summer...Heck I never even watered my gardens this year....after I spent all that money on those drip hoses, never used them.....

Chariton, IA(Zone 5b)

This would have been the summer for me to have a watering set up. I held the garden hose for hours each day. Next year, I hope it will be much different. Not soaking wet, but at least a rain now and then.

Kannapolis, NC(Zone 7b)

Brugie, I had enough rain for both of us. It's leveled out now. In fact before the rain we got this week, it had gotten very dry. First time since September 02.

That is adorable Shirley. I really like it and have never seen one with a bloom so small.

Medford, NJ(Zone 6b)

Too cute! Has anyone come up with one that small yet? Shirley you should work on that, LOL... Glad you had a nice visit with root.

Chariton, IA(Zone 5b)

I'd love to have a whole plant full of tiny blooms. This one makes me think of sanguinea size. Kristi, I don't think I have enough years to come up with one. I'll let you work on it. Besides, I'm getting to old to work on anything....just will enjoy what I have. Life is too short..........

Medford, NJ(Zone 6b)

Shirley your not getting to old!!! I only play bee for the fun of it. I leave the true hybridizing to the experts. Hint,hint- you can do it.

Brundidge, AL(Zone 8b)

Yes, i feel like this will be the year we get snow in lower alabama I am going to have to really mulch my babies good this year the winter is getting here too fast I remember wearing shorts in the middle of December last year here, of corse my husband wears shorts up north in the winter you should see the look on some of those peoples faces when he gets out of the eighteen wheeler with shorts on in chicago, and missouri, and canada, but he says he stays in the truck so much he doesn't get cold, he is only out of it long enough to hand them the manifest, but LoL he isn't one of those truckers (mostly women)this is the only ones I have seen with my own eyes no offense to anyone, that go down the road stark naked!!but that is another story I can't get on today.

Lima, OH(Zone 5a)

Wow, Amanda, you could write a book? A good one too!

San Leandro, CA(Zone 9b)

LOL Springsong! I guess your naked driver is just worried about not having clean underwear on if he is in an accident!

Hey Brugie, you just feel like that because of all your hard work. By spring you will be itching to get started all over and feel like a 20 year old.

Gloria, you are so naughty! LOL
