I've had 2 pink brugs bloom for me this week, Rosabelle and an unknown, and neither of them had any fragrance at all. These are my first two to bloom, so I'm still waiting for that wonderful aroma everyone talks about.

It is too bad that brugs don't smell during the day, but at night when the weather is warm and I can sit on the deck in the early evening and smell that fragrance.........I feel like I'm in heaven.

That's a nice looking Brug!
It looks like you have it in full sun, how much and how often do you have to water it in the summer!
I still haven't dared to put one in full sun in our kind of heat.

well I have drip hoses on all my brugs, I really haven't had to water much this yearthough, we have had alot of rain, i think i have turned my dripper on three times this summer, it is usually two times a week, but I fertilize with a hose end sprayer three times a week

Beverly Hills, CA(Zone 10a)

My Question.... is that pretty brug in a pot or in the ground? What kind of fertilizer do you use & the drip hose????

Brundidge, AL(Zone 8b)

back2back I use worm castings and miracle grow and 8-8-8 for fertilizer Yes it is in the ground all my brugs are , which can be bad when you run out of room and see one more you just have to have , but I am getting a green house this year so I will hopefully have some in pots next year, so I can cull what looks the same, that is a problem for me now, I have 7 brugs in the ground that are all the same cultivar, and now I have the chore of digging some of them up to put new ones there, next year

Herbstein, Germany(Zone 5a)
