This appears to be the variety "Goldfinger" which is larger and has more cream in the leaf than "Trinette".

SUNBONNET SUE REPORTS FROM SOUTHEAST TEXAS. MY CAPELLA ARBORICOLA WAS ATTACKED BY SCALE!

I PRUNED IT BACK SEVERLY THEN REMOVED SCALE AND BLACK SOOTY MOLD FROM CUTTINGS THEN REPLANTED CUTTINGS IN FRESH SOIL.
LOOK UNDER THE LEAF FOR SCALE.

It does grow quite fast but needs as much sun and very hot weather.
