My Mexican mint marigold is not blooming yet. Is yours in full sun?

GOD's Green Earth, United States(Zone 8b)

No, that one is in a Northern exposure and receives partial sun/shade. This is the second blooming for that particular plant. It bloomed in May. I've pruned it once, and its still over 5' tall. I have two others (young plants) in a southern, full-sun exposure, and they are loaded with buds and should bloom within the week. Hope this is helpful to you! Gretchen

Thanks for the information. Mine is in anorthern location too, but it is against a privacy fence and does not get a lot of sun. For some reason I am not being alerted to these postings - just happened to see there were 2 for this plant. By the way, do you know the name of the vine that produces furry looking "stuff" to hold its seeds? The one that just covers all other vegetation and is so invasive? I have photos but do not know its name. A friend suggested "old man's beard", but that is not it.I have spent countless hours trying to identify it.

It doesn't ring a bell with me...do you have a photo? The furry looking stuff -- anything like the stuff in Asclepias pods?

Nope, not like those pods. I sent you an email and if you choose to answer it, I'll send you a photo. Thanks for your help.
