Isn't that first bloom about the best thing that ever happens to a gardener? Very nice. I'll bet that next year it will be even more colorful. Way to go girl!!

Which one is this great big yellow? I love it and your pictures are just great. I can really get to know the looks of this brug thru them. Let us know if it gets darker, please.

I have never seen Golden Traum before. It has a great shape. I relly do like it and I usally do not like ones with such a narrow corolla tube.

The pollen is just oozing off those anthers! Gives it that come hither look! LOL

Independence, MO(Zone 5a)

i think it is dainty:) Today the color is a little deeper yellow and the other 2 buds opened...Kell, yes when i saw the pictures I noticed the pollen...I wondered what it was. It showed in the picture more then in person...maybe the flash picked it up...

When i over winter this can it be in a light room or does it have to be in the dark? I know it is suppose to be watered but not much ... I just want to preserve it till the spring so i can plant it out in the yard next year...

As for my cuttings... I now know to pot them up and do the same just keep them watered a little.. but being so young should i keep them well lit for a few more month to establish growth?

Root you took monicas book back to soon...heheh i didnt get to that part...

Thanks in advance to all

Hugs

Folks, I talked to Tracy last night and she's as proud as any new mother over this plant's blooms. You would just have to see her little pixie face to understand JUST how excited she is. You have a beautiful plant Tracy (TracEy?). I can't wait to see it in person.
