I just love your pictures. The flowers are spectacular. A sweet person on this forum had sent me starts of some burgs & two of them were successful. I had moved them outside this spring, but last week we were going to get down into the 20s overnight, so I brought all my houseplants & the Burgs in. But alas, they are now dropping their leaves. Did I do something wrong? Is there something else I should have done. Is there still a way to save them? I've never tried growing Burgs before, so this is completely new to me.

Leaves falling off.
This is normal if you wait to bring them in after the temps have gotten low. They will grow new leaves for next year. I read that they need to come in when the temp outside is the same as the temp inside to avoid the leaf drop. I would take a cutting or two though so that you always have your brug. My brugs that I saved just to see the buds open are now outside again and they are losing leaves very fast also. Not much we can do about it. I'm not saving most of the plants anyway, so I don't really care. Good luck with yours.
Its not the temperature alone, the change if light from outside to inside, will make them drop the leaves because of the lack of light. Very important is to reduce the watering, because there are almost no foliage left to evaporate the water. Otherwise the roots may rot.
Will these over-winter ok, or do I need to cut new starts from them?
They will overwinter ok if you are very careful with watering.
Ouch - I gave mine a healthy watering when I brought them in - and they're dropping leaves now - a week later. Hopefully I didn't water too much. Keeping fingers crossed.
I'm keeping my potted brug collection in my bathtub until they finish dropping leaves, and the cuttings I'm rooting are in plastic bags lining all the windowsills. my DD came over and went into the bathroom and came right back out just shaking her head at me, the poor girl just doesn't understand!!!
