Gardening With Out My Girl

Pembroke Pines, FL(Zone 10a)

.It's been a couple of weeks now since she passed and although I still have my "Scooter",a Shih-Tzsu which I love just as much,I seem to have lost most of my desire for raising tomato plants."Lucky"was my constant companion for I am disabled and she would fetch for me, although she was never specifically trained for it-she just did.She was part Dobie and part Rotwilder. My son, a police officer, found her while on patrol near the Everglades. She was 6mos old according to the vet."Lucky"was 9yrs.old in excellent health, loved children(with a big slurp to the face)and would aid me in many ways. When I would have ice cream she would pick up her plate and flop it on my lap and continued to do so until I gave her some. She loved ice cream. Oh,did I tell you,she was POISONED!!!
