This is impressive! Can't recall ever seeing a yellow one before!

I thought they were all yellow (flowers, at least... fruit is red)

perhaps I misspook. Are these the same as epiphyllums? I have seen the same shape foliage, the triangular as well as the flat, with the same bloom shape. Mostly I see red ones.

Now, this is not a typical Epiphyllum. This plant is grown mostly for its edible fruit and is not usually grown as an epiphyte, like from a hanging basket. But I'm sure it's somehow related to the Epiphyllum family. Can't say I know how, though.

i need some advice....
my night blooming cereus is possibly root bound in a pot that may or may not be too small. the trouble is that the leaves are browning, it blooms a couple times a year & we get as many as 25 blooms but i worry about the look of the leaves. i am attaching a photo of our most recent bloom (the date at the bottom is wrong).
