It is such a beautiful day today. I have 3 new roses to get planted as well as a hydrangia & some spreading dianthus that one of my supervisors at PG gave to me as well as one my daughter gave me because it wasn't doing well at her place. Also several succulents and some purslane, verbena, etc. to get planted or potted. The later ones also came from PG yesterday.
I spent yesterday at PG clipping & cleaning the leaves from stems of Lady in Red Salvia for drying and tying them into bundles. Then I got the pleasure of tying lots of various celosia into bundles for drying too. Of course there were seeds falling out all over the place as I handled them so I collected them and brought them home. Thousands of seeds! The Senior Gardener I was with yesterday told me to go out and throw them on the ground this fall and they will come up in the spring. That sounds good to me. Much less work to do next spring.
Much more to get done so I need to get busy. GOD bless and keep each and all of you.
