I live in North Texas, on the border just north of Dallas, Ft.worth. Will my candle tree make it through the winter?

PLease say Yes!!
Thank you,
Rhonda

Hi Rhonda,

They aren't hardy for me, down here in zone 8b, just a bit north of San Antonio. They certainly couldn't be hardy for you up in Dallas. :( Sorry for the bad news.

best,

Ringworm tree?? I don't even like the sound of that, wonder how it got that common name?

Hi root. Oddly enough, the only time it's called Ringworm tree is here on the PDB and DG!!! Nobody else out there is calling it that.

The user bushwick came and entered that plant into the database, giving it that name, on May 1st, 2002 (over 2 years ago)

Shrug!
