I have a plant flowering at the moment, and the label says Sesbania punicea, but I'm wondering if it's Colutea. It's fairly leggy, but that could be from lack of attention, and it has small bright orange-red peaflowers in small clusters. What makes me think it might be a Colutea is the inflated seed pods. But the leaves are bluey green, and those of Colutea seem to be brighter green.
Can someone tell me if Sesbania punicea has inflated seed pods?
Sesbania or Colutea?

Sesbania has a pod later in the year. It is kind of pointed on the edges...can't remember if its 3 or 4 edges.

Well, these look a bit like pixies' pointed shoes!
do a web search on sesbania and I'm sure you will find a picture. I had some, but must have deleted them, cause they aren't hardy here.
