Those are really huge pods. I can't imagine how many seeds are in one of them. Does she look like her sister Rubirosa?

San Antonio, TX(Zone 9a)

I don't think that's a brug. I think it is a new variety of watermelon. lol

Kyle, I am glad that you got some seedpods and others are almost ripe. I know it has been a bad summer for you and I hope you get some great seedlings out of your seeds.

Westbrook, ME(Zone 5a)

Those are monsters! You'll have to post a picture when you open them up Ludger, so we can see how many seeds are inside.

I have a few pods too, but nothing like those!! There were so few blooms this year, I didn't even polinate them, so they will all be surprises!! Maybe next year I will do a better job.

I never will sow out them all..would be ready for the madhouse..:-)

I don´t know why they are growing such big. May be it is the aurea influence.
B.aurea has very large pods.

Dayton, OH(Zone 5a)

I think this must be the giant brug species! Ludger, your picture is scaring me a bit as my seed pods are much smaller. I'm so new to this that I never know what to expect.

We have the Charlie Brown "Great Pumpkin" here. Now, you have the Great Seed Pod there ☺

Brugvalley, Germany(Zone 7b)
