how do i take cuttings??? its supposed to be down in the 30s here tonight and a few have sent cuttings to me. WONDERFUL PEOPLE THANK YOU!!!! but i have one in my yard i want to take a cutting from and dont know where or how too. thanks

imazadi, are you leaving the plant out? You can get cutting material from just about any of the branches. The tip branches above the Y are going to bloom quicker than the growth below the Y. I try to get some of each... just in case I have trouble rooting some. You can make them big or small. If frost is coming and your going to loose the whole plant anyhow... just level it and stick all the branches in a bucket with a couple inches of water.
yes i am gonna leave it out do to the fact its grown way to big. i have never taken cuttings but i need too. thanks for the info.
