These pinks from Springsong are beautiful!

Palm Coast, FL(Zone 9a)

I haven't had too much time for the pc, but had to come here to show you. Last nite, they all seemed to open at once, and the aroma was awesome. We did not want to come in the house; it was so pleasant.

The tall one which is over 5 ft now, was yellow last nite, then eventually turned pink.

One day I'll have a yellow, I'm sure, but right now, am busying myself w/wedding plans, so all will have to wait....I've had little time in the garden in the past month, but made sure my brugs were fertilized and watered, and lookie here, it paid off.....

Looks wonderful and I am happy that you are having blooms. It is truly exciting to see them bloom and smell their wonderful fragrance.

Nice picture. I'll bet you really did enjoy your evening. Now, those of us up north have to wait again until next summer. Hope you will post more pictures when you have time.

Really looks good with the dark pink flowers underneath. Are those roses?

Palm Coast, FL(Zone 9a)

They are not roses, and I'm embarrassed to say that the name is on the tip of my tongue, and can't remember it!

LOL It'll probably come to me in the middle of the night while I'm dreaming!

I want to say lantana, but I know they are something different....I remember talking about them all summer, and now that I want to recall the name, I can't remember....it'll come to me, and by that time, all interest will be gone....ROFL! :)

San Leandro, CA(Zone 9b)

If you remember tell us! LOL

Palm Coast, FL(Zone 9a)

It IS lantana afterall......I had some outside in the butterfuly garden, and just went out to check the name....I don't know why I got it confused.....suffice it to say, the mystery is over.....these are two-toned.

I moved these deep pinks into my lanai cause the deer were helping themsevles to the buffet, so thought I'd experiment my first year here, and kept the 'Irenes' out there....not nearly as healthy as the ones I have inside, as you can see....then again, the pinks inside were getting all the 20-20-20 run-off from the brugs.

My photography is not as good as I would like it to be, so hopefully, you can see these. :)

WOW, a hot pink lantana?? Could you take a close up of that pink lantana bloom?

Due to my now estrogen deprived mind, I am usually confused these days and now have an estrogen deprived mind. Though I notice luckily, I have also become very good natured so it bothers me not!!! If you have to be stupid, much better to be happy and stupid!!!LOL

Palm Coast, FL(Zone 9a)

Kell,

First thing in the morning, I'll be out there doin my thing w/the camera....and, will do my best to get a close-up....

Palm Coast, FL(Zone 9a)

Kell,
I've long been estrogen deprived, and don't even give it a thought....ROFL Ya know that term KISS....yep, that's me! LOL

Is it possible that this is 'verbena'? I'm a lil embarrassed, but not too much! LOL

That's strange - the flowers definitely look like verbena flowers, but not the foliage. It's a mystery plant. lol

Could your "Mystery Plant" be Pentas lanceolata?

I've been MIA for a bit since my son's wedding, but seems I've made it back just in the knick of time to answer your question.

Thank you, Hesperus! Mystery Plant is Pentas lanceolata.
Here is another pic from Floridata! They seem red in the picture, but they are more magneta or crimson.

Springsong, you have mail!
