I have the yellow anise--I. parviflorum. The flower on yours is much more striking than on mine--mine is almost non-descript. The seed pod is really interesting, kind of star-shaped. What does the seed pod look like on the red one?

I know I took pictures of the flowers, but I'll have to hunt for them (I may not have scanned them in yet). Here is a picture of the seeds and seed pod from the yellow anise.

That is what my pods look like, but I think they were larger.

Well, the flowers on the yellow anise are smaller than a dime usually. So these seed pods are pretty good size given the size of the flowers they come from.
